you should provide a software that automates backup process for the user.

because on windows is inherently difficult (if not nearly impossible) to automate such a task, because windows is a brain-dead operating environment from the ground up, it's abundantly clear the reason of this mostly useless help page.. confuse your dummy user and make him think that what he's going to achieve (a full backup) is a task that should be completed by so-called "service personnel".

my final thought on this madness is to kick microsoft in the ass and start embracing open technologies, you as sony should have a consistent user base and would be a major player in the open source business. your users will be happier, and the whole world will be safer.

i know that this sounds like an useless rambling over the way things works in the west side of the world (e.g. business dictates the rules, not the technological superiority of a solution above another, or human needs in the first place), but i thought i should share my thoughts with you.
